Rannaghor Restaurant has been declared the SFM Verified Restaurant in Cox’s Bazar under the Safe Food Movement (SFM) initiative.
The recognition marks an important step toward promoting safe food, hygiene, cleanliness and responsible restaurant practices in Cox’s Bazar, one of Bangladesh’s leading tourism destinations.
SFM verification focuses on key areas of restaurant operations, including food safety, kitchen hygiene, safe water, sanitation, cleanliness and regulatory compliance. The initiative aims to encourage restaurants to maintain higher standards that protect consumers and build public confidence in the food service sector.
Rannaghor Restaurant, located in Cox’s Bazar, is now the third restaurant in the district to receive the SFM Verified recognition.
The Safe Food Movement expects this initiative to encourage more restaurants in Cox’s Bazar to improve their food safety and hygiene practices and to compete on the basis of quality, safety and compliance.
